It also accesses Tampa easily across the Howard Franklin Bridge and Gandy Bridge for tourism activities and attractions in one of Florida's largest cities and can be a good home base from which to tour the entire Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida areas. The Wagon Wheel is open every Saturday and Sunday, regardless of weather, and is fun for the entire family. The Wagon Wheel has been a fixture in Pinellas Park, drawing hoards of visitors from surrounding cities and towns. The newest attraction in Pinellas Park is the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum. The museum opened its doors in 2005 and features over 40 vintage automobiles from the 1920’s and 1930’s. The museum is closed on Tuesdays, and admissions prices are reasonable. Any automobile enthusiast is sure to have a good time at this exciting new attraction. The Pinellas Park Art Society, located on Park Boulevard, maintains and provides a free art gallery, two classrooms, and a library. The Art Society also offers classes and workshops and features guest artists on a rotating basis. If Pinellas Park is on your traveling agenda, keep in mind that you will only be a short drive away from Tampa and St. Petersburg.
